Terms of service

These terms govern access to Value Investing Club and subscription to its plans. By subscribing, you accept them.

This English text is provided for convenience. The French version is the authoritative one and prevails in the event of any discrepancy. The contract is governed by French law.

1. The service

Value Investing Club, published by Syntalink, provides an information and education service on value investing: a daily ranking of U.S. stocks, a stock screener with alerts, a monthly letter and a curriculum of written volumes. It provides no personalized investment advice and no portfolio management.

2. Plans and pricing

One membership, billed either monthly at $24 or yearly at $149 — the yearly price being 48% below twelve monthly payments. It opens every part of the service; there is no higher tier. Prices are in U.S. dollars and are the final amount due; no additional tax is added at checkout. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless canceled beforehand.

3. Access

Creating an account is free and opens nothing on its own: only a paid subscription opens the members’ area, and access begins as soon as payment is confirmed. Your credentials are personal; sharing an account, abusive use or resale of the content may lead to suspension.

4. Payment

Payment is by card through our secure payment provider. No card details are stored by the publisher.

5. Right of withdrawal

Under Articles L221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code, you would normally have 14 days to withdraw.

Because the service is digital content supplied immediately, a mandatory checkbox is presented on the payment page: by ticking it you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal as soon as your access opens (Article L221-28). Your consent is timestamped and retained by our payment provider, attached to the transaction.

As long as that access has not been opened, the right of withdrawal remains intact and any refund is made within 14 days.

Depending on your country of residence, local consumer rules may also apply to you.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, with no renewal. The publisher may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms.

7. Liability

The service is informational. Investment decisions are yours alone, and investing carries a risk of capital loss. Market data comes from third-party providers and carries no guarantee of accuracy or completeness.
